Needed intensive rehab sessions after sustaining fracture in wrist. So glad to have found Timothy of Heartland Rehab. With a combination of deep muscle massage, high tech equipment, and exercise tips, I'm glad to be able to get back to work in just 3+ weeks. Keep up the good work guys!! 🙂
A good friend referred Heartland Rehab to me. I had been dealing with some issue with my left shoulder for a long while. Their in-house sports massage therapist, Zhenfang, did wonders fixing up my left shoulder and recommended changing my sleeping posture as well. It has been more than 3 weeks now, and I am feeling great!
Very professional. Bala was very quick to diagnose the pain my girl had. Treatment was painless and he was very patient to take down all the details of what happen. He also prescribed exercises which are very useful.
I was experiencing some lower back pain for quite sometime till i arranged a session with Timothy. With his experience and professionalism, he manage to troubleshoot the issues in quickly and accurately. From there, suitable remedies and exercises were being introduced to relieve it. Highly recommend!
Glad I choose Heartland Rehab. Had a chronic painful shoulder and stiff neck for more than year and decided to seek professional help. Timothy has helped me identify the root causes of my pain and also advise me on exercises to counter the muscle imbalance that contributed to the pain. After a few sessions coupled with the dry needling and triggerpoint release, my pain was alleviated and my shoulder and neck feel less tightness and able to gain better flexion of my neck area. Definitely recommend Heartland Rehab.
For many years, I was suffering with severe shoulder pinch pain, due to excessive usage on cricketing actions. Visited doctors & clinics, not much improvement. This year, I have visited Timothy @ Heartland Rehab, Bukit Merah.Timothy is excellent physio, understood my conditions, worked on my shoulders.Within 8 weeks, I am feeling drastic improvement, which set me back in routine actions. Really impressive and felt very happy.Very competent physio's and would recommend for anyone. Cheers.
Timothy helped me with a persistent knee pain over the last 8 months. Progression was very consistent and as of now the pain is mostly gone! He prescribed very targeted exercises for different phases of rehabilitation, starting with strength and then eventually moving into stability and finally power. Telephysio was also available over the circuit breaker period. Highly recommend!
I was referred to Mr Gareth Chew by my GP after sustaining a right upper arm strain injury. Initially, I was skeptical as it would be a long and painful process.Gareth was thorough in giving professional advice on the stretches and exercises. Gareth was also detailed in explaining the muscles that affect my arm. After a few consultations and dry needling sessions with Gareth, my arm has recovered a lot. Thanks to Heartland Rehab and Gareth for the great and professional service. Would definitely recommend anyone who needs physio/rehab service. 😊
I engaged Heartland Physio for home therapy for my father during the circuit breaker period, and I am greatly impressed by the high standard of care and therapy given to my father, who suffered a stroke and is unable to move the left side of his body. Appointments are made effortlessly via online booking and I get reminders on the sessions. The physiotherapist Mr Gareth Chew patiently did the exercises with my father and encouraged him. Through the sessions, my father regained more strength and balance in his left leg and arm and is now more stable in walking. My father was initially not receptive to home therapy but he now telld me that he feels stronger and more confident walking with the walking aid and that his balance has improved. Thanks Heartland Physio for your service from the heart! We are very grateful because it is such a joy to see my father gets better bit by bit!
I couldn’t be more thankful to Mr Gareth Chew for all the loving tenderness as well as professionalism he displayed to my father during every home physiotherapy session. Engaged the help of Gareth since 3rd of June 2020 after my father was unable to walk since a very bad bout of gout attacked that caused him to be bed bound since May. Gareth was gentle and thorough in his explanations of every stretches and exercises and even which muscle groups the exercises were targeting. My dad regained his confidence tremendously with Gareth’s reassurance and was always looking forward to physiotherapy sessions with Gareth. Gareth even went the extra mile to help my dad purchase a pedal cycle. Knowing that my dad loves to drive around in his car when he was mobile, Gareth also kindly arranged for a OT to come to our place to access my dad whether he is fit to drive. He does everything possible to alleviate the pain and stiffness my dad has , including doing tension release massage of the hamstring, nerve stimulation( not sure if that’s the correct term) using a portable machine, etc. After 15 sessions, my dad is now able to walk down 2 flight of stairs in his house, with some effort of course, but he is definitely more mobile and happy compared to before Gareth’s rehabilitations. Will take a bit more time to regain all his strength but with consistent practice of the stretches and exercises Gareth has gone through with him, we’re confident that my father’s full and minimally aided mobility would be regained soon. Thank you Gareth, for the reasonable prices, the tender care and encouragement as well as the professional rehab sessions that you had rolled out for my dad the past 2 months to help him regain his mobility. Without you, it would not have been possible. Highly highly recommend Gareth of Heartland Rehab to anyone seeking a great and professional physiotherapist. Blessings to all the staff of Heartland Rehab. Please keep up with your great work. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
I came here for the first time to rectify my shoulder injury. Got the diagnosis and meticulously went through the recommended exercises to heal faster. Bala is my physiotherapist, he listens and always check back with me on my recovery progress. I highly recommend coming here for you physiotherapy.
Never really believed in physiotherapy but a trip to heartland changed my wife and my beliefs. We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Tim, not sure if all therapists are like him - professional, patient and very knowledgeable. He did a very thorough check on my wife’s chronic neck pains and explained everything in great detail. We weren’t expecting a miracle but at the end of the session, my wife said she never felt better. Would strongly recommend him. The centre itself is spacious, clean and fully equipped.5 stars
Bala is an amazingly knowledgeable and methodical physio who can explain the rationale behind each action he does to help fix my issues. He is also accommodating of my erratic schedule, which was a huge plus point for me! Would definitely recommend Bala 💯
I had a toe injury that I was struggling to recover from. With Timothy's help and patient guidance, I was able to recover and build up strength in my toe in just two months. And for the first time in 8 months I was able to rock climb without pain. During the sessions, Timothy spends time and effort to listen to his patients and to recommend exercises based on their physical condition and sporting requirements. This is what makes Timothy and Help Heal unique from other physios. Plus, their prices are reasonable. So if you need help recovering from an injury, I highly recommend Help Heal!
Came across HelpHeal through Google in search of Physiotherapy due to a back injury I thought I’ve sustained. Was apprehensive about going because it was my first time. Was greeted by my physiotherapist Timothy when I came, he started the session off with consulting me about the whole process of how I got my injury, he then slowly explained to me how it is most likely a sprain rather than an injury. Throughout the following sessions, he helped me through doing a lot of stretching exercises, through correcting me and teaching me what the proper posture was. I really enjoyed the sessions as they were really professional and effective in helping me recover from the sprain. Now I’m feeling much better and well recovered to carry out my tasks in the army.
I was seen by Timothy for my chronic back pain due to disc degeneration which affects my movement n posture. Very experience and attentive physiotherapist that took me one step at a time ensuring the exercises are within tolerance. What was new to me this time was this thing called dry needling which helps to relieve the muscle spasm. It works WONDER! My back pain recover in a speedy short two weeks n the exercises helps me to better manage whenever I feel the strain kicking in. Well as the sign stated help heal, they have lived up to it. Highly recommended!
I have decided to leave a review after my 9th visit for various calf and back strains. These are the few things that I look out for when it comes to a health care professional. 1)open mindedness to seek new ways of evidence based treatments for clients. The owners, Bala and Gareth always approach their practice with a learned attitude. I've seen them going for courses and upgrading themselves relentlessly2)they like to share and explain their knowledge in their field so that i understand why certain exercises are needed. My recent calf strain was due to a weak glute muscle which Bala diagnosed and explained to me the exercises that I have to do to strengthen them.3)follow up. Alot of times we do not recover well because we are lazy to do the exercises required. Bala followed up with me closely and I am appreciative of thatIf I have to pick one thing that they can improve on, it would be their location but this is a small issue which I think the owners will soon sort out as their vision is to bring physiotherapy to the masses.I will not hesitate to recommend my network to them after my 9th visit.
